All of the examples are in Poster format. I don't see that as a requirement, but is that preferred? Like having a movie title and text?

Almost all of those examples include the Robot/alien holding the maiden in their arms... very typical of those retro posters
the Forbidden Planet was awesome, with a young Wesley Nielson and Robie the Robot.
Since when does Pxeljoint have spell check?

Most of those examples have giant monsters holding on to beautiful women. Most of the women are in the same pose, too.

I understand the requirement of having a sci-fi horror film. But does it have to be straight retro, or have options like making a non-horror science fiction a.. horror? Like E.T Evil version or something; not that I was going to make something like that.

@Shiraku: no it doesn't have to be straight up retro, but it will definitely help you in my judging process An evil E.T. would still be E.T. which is against the rules. C'mon and get creative!
@Frankie: dude, that is looking boss!
@MashPotato: Yes, adding it to your gallery with an appropriate description would be the best. Something along the lines of "My Pixelween submission" in the description or title would help alot.
@kendi64: An awesome start! Love the perspective of the robot but not the building in the background.
@Doomcreator0: it ends on the 29th... specifically midnight PST.
