(Sorry if I posted in the wrong place.) Well, every time I try to submit a piece of art, I get a 500 error (and it says that the admins were notified of the arror) - any idea why this is happening?

hello, just to start: what's your OS, and browser? does this happen only when submitting images to PJ? did you tried something else, like http://xs.to - http://xs.to ? |

Hi,
My OS is Windows XP (Japanese) and my browser is IE 6.0.
I can submit/upload files to other sites (never had a problem with any others I have tried), but I get the 500 error here for some reason. (I don't know what http://xs.to - http://xs.to is...)

an image hosting site. just to discard if the problem was local. i don't think that is caused by your current location, since there is another user from japan (whose name i can't remember right now) who has submitted his artwork without problems. perhaps someone more enligtheed could give us an explanation? ------------- I ate leel's babies |

This has happened before. Try once again and hit submit and then when you get the 500 error just give it a second before clinking anything else. Then go to the page where the upload should show if it does, its your browser and cookies and stuff like that. If not go to the gallery and send a report, thx.

| btw yesterday I got several 500 while loading different sections of PJ. So this could not be related to "submission" of files. |

These 500 errors happen at PJ from time to time, then go away. On the forum for example you'll get one after you submit a comment but when you see the thread the comment is added. Sedge messes with this so we are all at his whim on this :( *PJV3 will not do this. ------------- |

I am new to this site so I may be out of the loop when it comes to this error but... Every time I am on someones piece, where the comments should be or where the box to comment is. (idk if there is one, I got this error when joining the site) the error appears with a bleak assurance of technical support. While I guess its not debilitating and I can still submit art, I cant really thank those who comment or go up in ranks for that matter... Does anyone have a soultion? |

@LifeDairy, can you post a screen shot of whatever art page showing us what you see, more like it, what you don't see. Also mention what browser you are using. ------------- |

That is very weird. Do you have Java, cookies, and all those thingies on? I see you are a Mac user, as I am. I use FF and have no problems at all. However, when I log into PJ using Safari the comment box does not ever show the WYSIWYG buttons over the comment box. This is what I see with FF. Are we talking about the same thing here?  ------------- |

Yes I have Java, and cookies on. On your picture is the comment box I should see but which is mysteriously not there. And using Safari I've exactly the same problem than with FF. Edit: Also my java version is: "1.5.0_28 from Apple Inc." and I have "JAVA Plug-In II for NPAPI browsers 12.8.0" installed for FF. |

i have the same problem, i'm new too, qith this problem i can't see the other people comment so i can't answer them, but when i log off i can see the comment's, when i re log i can't.... :(
i use firefox, and windows xp. i hope this is temporary
