It's a fine start... just not much going on in this scene. I would ditch the doors on the open sides.

hmm shark why is the pic you posted black and white? the real one is in color...
yes, I agree about the doors. Great job on the crack by the chair - looks cool . What else are you planning to add? because that's quite plain

'cause irfanview killed it when I converted to PNG the first time.
Thanx for the crits, all.
Edit: Added desk, room #, took out door.

Anyone have ideas for the closet door(top-left)?

leel, the original link was to a black and white version, but the link
didnt work so i posted the image to save people time copying and
pasting, since then he has edited his post, to a colour version.
monkey o d, i think the window needs work when do u see a big-
assed frame inside the room?, i think there needs to be more
details, ie tv, bookshelf (look around your own room for inspiration),
i think u shood also remove the door nearest to us.

I put the desk in w/ chair, but I think the door'll have to stay. I spent 45 mins taking out the other one. Also fixed the window a bit. I'll look into the rest of the crits, too.

never seen the chair larger that the desk. Your work is too unproportional, that makes it suck.

Next update here. I largened(is that a word?) the desk, moved the hole in the plaster, and added a bookshelf, as well as fixed the window more.

Sure, right away!
eDiT:

I added the books & a picture, but I can't seem to draw a good circle on the wall for the light, and the plant seemed like it wouldn't fit in the picture very well.
Any more crits?

How about some new wallpaper? or paint? Also, that floor doesn't jive for me. It's hard to make out what it's supposed to be made of.... tiles? metal? carpet?

You might want to highlight the surreal "cloud space" outside the door
and window by making the window size larger and move the picture beside
the shelves, leave the sign over the door. Then re-do those fugly
clouds. Looks like all the c+c's made you stray from the concept you
were going for at first.

Fixed up the clouds, moved the picture.

Add some color to the walls any color other than that one and you're done. The wall color now is from the template.

OK, i might be a bit late, but howabout some paper strewn out of the toppled bin? Hmm, i'm not keen on the computer chair... Also, along with the walls being changed you should edit the doors, the outlines at the moment are far too bold for your piece.

How about a highlight line on the bookcase like the desk has?
