I recently Finished this pixel of a knight that I made. I haven't done much pixelling in a while so I wanted to do something before I start to lose it.

And I've started to Animate him:

It's Kind of a mess currently but I am just laying out some shapes before I start to flesh it our more. I'll probably go all out and animate a couple of different actions if I manage to make this look any decent.

All crits are welcomed on either animation or the sprite.

edit: v what is this proxy junk? It won't delete...

looking at it i think u need an intermediate frame between 2 and 3, one where he is starting to bend forward and the sword is halfway back to its, swing start position. then on the swing start frame, put a larger delay in so as viewers can tell what its all about. u also could use a frame between 4 and 5 so u are not relying completely on the "japanese swoosh" effect to imply movement.

and i saw this in the other forum a few weeks ago but, shouldnt the helmet be picking up the same specular "ping" the rest of the armour is?

best of luck
Steve

i would change the whoe color scheeme to better fit the style. more greys and more highlighting and also make the hair move when slashing
