This is my first isometric city part, so all C&C and suggestions are welcome. It is based on a real existing city in Bosnia.

Beautiful. Maybe coloring the shadow sides with more of a general purple hue will add lots of interest.
e:yellow/blue/purple always looks nice.

Person seems too tall for the door.
I know this is a classic way of making glass... I hate it.
5 minute edit coming...brb.

Nice! :D I've never been good at iso, but I think it's turning out nice! My only complaint is that the sidewalk looks shiny. :/

Of course even better for glass is just to show stuff in shades of blue inside and forget all the highlighting... that's just me and my style.

Thanks Jal.
Oh i got confused now a bit.. I dont know which side exacly should the shadows point at.. :/ the guy closer to the building or the guy behind him?

Just my opinion here... The shaded side of the building could use some more texture. The cloths could have some shading/more than one color per piece. Just look, out of place on the building as they are now.
Good job though. I like it.

Of course yea, the building is not finished, I still have windows, texture, shadings, a half floor on the roof, plants on windows and such small details/decorations, Im just figuring out where the right shadows should come from so i can continue multi-working, on couple of things at the time. And I cant think of which shadow is right (look at previous picture up there).. becouse If I start making wrong, its gona be hard to change.
Thank you :)

The man who is closer to the building (left) Has the correct shadow. The top left edge of the building doesn't cast a shadow. so the light must be directly hitting the top right.
Hope that helps.

Farthest away from building is 'eboy/classic iso correct'. Straight 90 degrees based line. But anything is possible. I like 30 degrees myself, but I use 90 often.

Thanks Jal, 30 degrees dont fit me here becouse of the light, I would have to change the shadowed side or the lighted side of the building, so Im using 90 degree one. Thanks.
Watch out, pitbull is in the town hehe

Yeah, there is much work left, on building and surroundings, other buildings. There will be a half floor in the center of the top, with the roof. Thanks.

This is B.A man :D
Just some things to fix...
- Clothes need some outline seeing as they have outlines when they're on the people.
- The sidewalk in the shadow seems strangely empty with no texture.
- The middle of the halfpipe's lighting looks weird.
- Graffiti on left of building should follow the texture of building.
Looking pretty awesome.

Hey man, thank you! Yes, most of the points u said are wips and are planed to be fixed that way and much more thats undone. Thank you for the advice man :) Thats what I needed to avoid me of forgeting, about colors.. yeah 117, but I really dont want to restrict colors, I try to use existing ones, but when new ones are needed to have a better look/effect then I will add that color. I just want it to blow my own mind and make it how I imagined, this is one building, and all those colors will be used on the surroundings that will be made around.
Thanks again, appreciate it man! :)

This looks awesome!
A few bugs: the open windows are not isometric (should be shorter by 1 or 2 px I think); pple are too tall compared to the bldg but well, that's nice; mostly, shadows are highly inconsistent (between >60° above right for pple and bldg, almost 0° for open windows). The rooftop shadow should be the same iso square than the rooftop.

Hey Manupix, thanks!
The opened windows, I know they arent 26,5 degree (isometric), I made them 30 degree, becouse they are supposed to be open more then half, I guess that is allowed to make..? As the buildings shadows on the ground, yeah it is incomplete for the moment but will be fixed.
The people maybe seem a bit too big for the floors.. I will think about it and maybe make the floors few pixels larger but I dont know if it is that necessary, I really like the current size of everything but I guess you are right.. I just dont want the building to be huge and want to keep 10 floors.. :/

I think other angles in iso work just fine besides 26.5. 30, 45 % 90 when used for effect works. Just not too much of it. An all 26.5 iso ends up boxy and boring, imo.

I wasn't talking about the angle, but the length. Shortening them 1 px makes them look very much more in proportion. Maybe also try thicker.

Okey, this is pretty much it. I know about the sky, since its isometric it cant be seen, but since art, and not some game mockup, I decided to add it there, just for a better effect for the building.

I have been following this, aand I must say, nicely done. I really think you did a good job on everything and I like the bullet holes on the car (I think it adds a nice touch. But if I may say one thing, I don't know if it's me, but the monholes really don't seem to fit in with the isometric feel. But other than that you did a really good job!

Hey, Thank you very much! What are monholes? The round things on the road?
EDIT: better now?

Nice. Gotta say, I'm not really a huge fan of isometric pixels, but this one is totally cool.
