↔ If the knees are moving, then the shading on the knees should move as well. It looks a bit odd. So does the eyes, but that's because you don't have a nose to indicate breathing deep, so I can't say anything about that. XD Good either way, I can't animate.

↔ He looks so afraid! I do agree, that maybe some more A-Aing would make it look a bit more realisticmetalic. Although, I think his hands are just fine. :3

↔ Oh God, I'm so embarassed now. XD Maybe it's because everyone was saying how much he looked like a girl, so I assumed. Sorry! :3

↔ A few lines are bothering me greatly, but other than that, as I've said before, I know squiddly about iso art, so to me, the concept is 'mazing.  >_<

My wrists would break too and I would have casts and I wouldn't be able to submit pixel art anymore. DX

↔ I really like this little guide. :3 I'm a doodler going into dolling /and/ pixel art at the same time, so it's a little useful, even if traditional artists aren't mentioned. Thanks, thanks.

↔ ... I think I said to not tell me how much he looks like a girl just a comment ago? XD

Again, I tried, people. I just wanted a challenge. And I got one. o= You have to admit that it's a pretty okay attempt, considering the base.

↔ Hey, hey, I think it looks like pixel art just fine. o_o

The only thing that throws people off is the vast amount of colours.

↔ Y'know, I believe that in the future, there will be something better than Windows or Mac, such as, the beauty, creativity, and programs of a Mac, using the easy-to-learn format of a Windows, and many of the other things thrown in there, don't you think? [ I use a Windows meself, by the way. ]

Thank you very much. :3

Shinamon @ 9/4/2007 15:35 commented on Naruto. o_o

↔ I wasn't meaning to make him, I told you all. DX I was originally drawing a girl, but after awhile, the hair reminded me of Naruto and the orange colour I had picked so I went along with it. XP

So no comments about him looking like a girl, okay? XD I tried my best to make it look otherwise. -Going to upload the edit I made.-

↔ The CPU is smaller than the home computers we have now. XD I think that's the only futuristic thing about it.

↔ You could make a green enemy as well, perhaps one that is flying higher than all others.

Then add mountains to the background? =.

I do like this style though; Everything looks so very cute. :3 I especially like the grass, and the light line that parts horizontally, with the dots under it. I would've never thought of that! o_o

user
Shinamon @ 9/1/2007 04:08 commented on Naruto. o_o

↔ That's what happens when you pick the base before even knowing what you do. =. I was meant to draw a girl, but hey, decided a challenge. He actually looks a lot more boyish with the changes I made, and if I kept his original base, he would've looked like a trans or something. =/

But thanks a lot about mentioning the position of the feet. The hair may be a little difficult for me to change, but the position of the feet may be something else I can do. :3

Shinamon @ 8/31/2007 22:03 commented on Oh Noes a Nightmare

↔ Is it just me, or does it appear as if the boy is /actually/ saying 'Oh noes a nightmare!' XD

Actually, that's my reaction to a nightmare, if it isn't too scary, of course. Nightmares suck majorly, that's for sure. I love your dithering. o_o

-Drool like idiot.-

Shinamon @ 8/31/2007 22:00 commented on nightmare samuraļ

↔ My computer shows black blobs, but it helps to have a practiced eye. :3

I like the design on the front of the man's helmet, and the darkness of the picture helps to add on the nightmare-ish feel. And honestly, I'd be damn scared if some Samurai scary man kept chasing me in my nightmares, about to slash my head off. Lynch, behead, and any other word I can't think of.

I love dithering. o_o

user
Shinamon @ 8/31/2007 20:25 commented on Futuristic Computer

↔ To be honest, you used a lot of colours. o_o

Okay, I sound like a complete hypocrite when I say that, but you did. The indigo 'band' thing at the bottom is taking away a lot of colours. You were going for a metallic effect, weren't you? And the Windows-type band colours are backward and rather pillow-shaded, unless that's what you were going for. XD

The fact that you're doing isometric is 'mazing though. o_o I don't think I'll get to iso-pixels quite yet. And the concept of the computer is very cool. :3

Shinamon @ 8/28/2007 17:07 commented on El Pirahna Plant
↔ This is going to sound very primitive, but you could use a transparent background for each frame, then animate them in a simple free animator such as Unfreez. I would think that would be the most simple way to have a transparent animation, as far as I know.
