I have a good grasp of art in general. When it comes to the pixel medium, I've only been self-taught until two weeks ago when I signed up here. :p There's a lot I never knew or took into consideration before. I really like your edit, it's a different effect than what I was aiming for, but it works. Thanks for taking the time, and thanks for the link.

Almost all right. Pancreas meat = tutu, deformed heart = ballet slippers, pirate revolver = derringer (a.k.a. ladies' gun)

Thanks. That's a lot to take in. lol. Well, I was attempting to make it look like the water was dripping from a ceiling, which is why I made the first few frames slow, but you're right, it's not quite an convincing as I'd hoped. I'm very new to making animated gifs, so I didn't know about the 0" thing. As for the art, I made it a long time ago before I thought about antialiasing. Obviously I thought the whole thing looked decent enough or else I wouldn't have submitted it to the gallery. I'm glad for the second opinion. If you did make an edit, I'd like to see it. Do you think I should draw more frames for the water collecting at the top, to get the effect I want?

Thanks. Yeah, It's just the angle I chose in this case. I hope that's not what's holding it back, it's been in the queue for a while. haha. It wouldn't be difficult to show a slice of the side view, if that's what the public wants. So, thank you for being the first to give it feedback.

Wow, nice. I can actually hear the "munch munch munch". lol. I assume that's what he's doing, chomping on brains.

I agree about the preview. Also, while I think the cork looks convincing, the needless crease lines in the glass make it look like fabric.

The right leg looks off. In that position I think the foot would be behind the other leg. Foreshortening's a bitch.

Nice dolls. His head looks like a potato. lol. One slight adjustment would be to make the ear read more like an ear on the smaller heads, I keep reading it as a button.

Your monster design looks aboriginal...or Aztec, one of the two. lol.I like that part and the background especially. Nice job.

I like how you've created subtle texture with the brown, but you defeat it entirely by doing the same with the red mouth. Not to mention the general laziness of technique and concept, but I feel like you knew that when you made this. :p

I'm a little unsure what he's doing with his arms. Black outlines and darker shadows are good for when you're working that small.

Overall good, but some small changes to consider are making the text wrap around the bottle--this can be challenging, but a good practice. Another thing is to try making the outlines consistent with the shading instead of automatically ringing everything with one color. Definitely look at the way light reflects on an actual glass, you'll find some really interesting glints and such to work with. Have fun! :)

Ah, sorry. I forgot anti-aliasing was a term outside of photoshop. I checked out the tutorial and now I've been partly de-noobified. I think I'm going to stick to not using it with this particular style since my goal is not to hide the edges but glorify them. lol. It's something to keep in mind for the future though. Thanks again.

The feet are a bit big, thank you for pointing that out. I was eager to make an avatar and in my haste I neglected a few other details as well. I'm going to edit and re-submit it. As for the old-school style, I am bound to that by my own convictions. I'm only allowed to use MS Paint. lol. But, is there a way I could make it better just by adding/subtracting pixels? What do you think? Thanks.

My first posted on this site, yeah, but not my first ever. I've been using MS Paint since I was 5 years old. lol  I'm working on a series of Victorian/steampunk characters, mostly for my own amusement but also to build a portfolio in the hopes that someone will notice me. That's why I'm here. :) Great site, it's exactly what I was looking for.
