Freaks and Geeks DVD

I've been burning through the complete "Freaks and Geeks" TV series on DVD the last couple of weeks. It sure captures high school in all its painful glory. How did this show get cancelled after just a single season? This show feels so real and yet it's so damn funny. That Judd Apatow is a freakin' genius.

I really dig shows that spend time casting the right actors/actresses even if they might not fit the Hollywood look. Just look at all those funny BBC shows - they're chock full of fugly talent.
