Those hardworking Valve folks have finally started the much anticipated preload of HL2 via Steam.

A nice little companion piece for this news item... Electronic Boutique sent me a message this morning informing me that my HL2 preorder is due to ship "November, 1st 2004".

I'll believe it when I see it.
