Even in a great game like Warcraft III, 3-D graphics have always looked a little clunky to me in these RTS games. This new Age of Empires game looks to be a huge step forward.

the above mentioned 3d-example is indeed beautifullb but:
3d and 2d ... its like with true movies and cartoons. 2d is different, not necessary worse.
