Is this dark picture of Spider-Man supposed to be the alien symbiote costume? Only time will tell.

Doesn't spiderman's suit get covered in the parasite?
I think the third one is when venom is revealed.
Since they already introduced the space guy.

I don't even like the guy's edited version of the symbiote suit, or should I now say medical suit. I think that since they changed everybody elses previous design, why stop here at venom's. I think that they should try and still go for something more alienesque, design wise with the suit, even with the ultimate story line. And since its a movie, I think that the venom symbol should be extremely distorted,(instead of bieng super perfect and clean, like the edited version) giving a creature type look that "tried" to copy the spidey symbol, but didn't quite get the right shape, much like a real animal would try do. If you use the insert link button you have to select some text before using it otherwise it will link "nothing". I know it's lame. The WYSIWYG link thing is very Windows IE-centric. If you paste a link all you have to do is hit a space or hit enter and it will automatically make it a link. Most of the functionality works pretty well in Firefox, but there are certainly some bugs.
Regarding the SpiderMan costume (again)... I can't imagine why they would stray from the original in this case.

I, however, do not love this sites system. How the hell do you make a working link. I clicked Insert Link and got some dumb window to fill stuff in. I click OK when done and it did nothing....Whats the code to just do it directly in the post?

Regarding Brock's physique it may be more influenced by Ultimate Spider-Man where Eddie is a teen not much older than Peter and the symbiote is a man made medical suit designed to destroy cancer cells (in the host I assume) therefore getting rid of all the alien ties which may work better for the movie if that's what they plan to do. I think it is just a decolorized photo. Besides, I'm pretty sure the director would give him another suit instead of just making his original suit darker. That would indeed be, "cheap." Besides, I really hope this movie doesn't suck. From what I know, Topher Grace(That 70's show, the main character, Erik) will be playing venom. I'm by no means a comic fan, nor have I ever read one. But what I am is an artist. And from what I recall, Venom's main entity, after it had left Parker, was Eddie Brock, a LARGE, WELL BUILT man, in which none of the cap'd terms represent Topher Grace whatsoever. So I'm guessing there will be a lot of CGI in this movie. Plus, The SandMan will be the villain in it, so I'm not expecting much from this movie. I'm still gonna watch it though...

im pretty sure the venom symbiote is going to be a side story, Sandman(Thomas Haden Church) is going to the main villian in the movie, Spider man wears the symbiote for awhile before he gives it up and eddie brock comes across it.

badguy is not venom.. that was a rumour. rumour was 2 badguys, topher grace being sandman and someother guy being venom.. well nothing heard of from topher grace, and the other guy is sandman, they have a picture of him to.

Rather lazy to just release a decolorized photo OR if they didn't take the time to make a more appropriate symbiote costume. I hope they get it together... the first two have been great movies so I'll reserve judgment until after.

i wish they would redesign the venom suit seeing as how its an alien symbiote and all, it shouldnt even have the spider symbol on the chest.

Yeah it does just look like the standard suit decolorized. The black suit in the comics has no weblines or 'section's where the red and blue are on the original. And the spider symbol is huge and wraps right around to the one on the back. Maybe they do have it like in the picture there but it would seem a bit cheap...

My guess is that its just a grey-scaled mock up to keep people interested in the whole Spider Man franchise. They'll probably won't release the real costume or snap shots until it's much closer to the film's release date.

yeah my guess is thats its gonna be venom, altho i always imagine venom a bit more.. hum big and scary, with bigger claws and hmm a hella big mouth that can like eat anythin no?cant wait to see the movie.
