Mac Continues to Stomp on PCs

Apple's got some new TV ads that feature a PC man and a Mac man discussing some of the finer aspects of themselves--and ruffling a few feathers in the process.

"the user base between Macs and PCs are pretty different" well, that might have been the case still about 3 years ago, but nowdays pretty much anyone might decide to get a mac independent of what they do for a living. there's a pretty strong migration from windows based PCs to Macs going on, and with the option of dual booting on intel macs, i don't see that trend going away anytime soon.

the most people that seem to use macs are graphic designers and/or web designers and from my experience PCs are commonly used for animation, visual effects, gaming and game development, 3D and of course graphic design and web design. if you go over to CGtalk.com alot of the art there is created on PC such as 3D illustrations and digital painting.
