Unique Pixel Art Videos

News Details

The chatterbox has turned up two great finds recently...

Lawrence discovered an excellent animation on the National Film Board of Canada's website that features some of the most fluid and beauitful "pixel art animation" (using beads) you'll likely ever see.  Soon after, kaltsu posted a lovely tribute to Space Invaders using real people as the pixels.

You bring up a good point ptoing, but I always think of pixel art in terms of what a pixel is... any of the small discrete elements that together constitute an image (m-w.com).

Love them both, but the beads one does not qualify as "pixel art" because it's not on a grid.
