Pixel Art Challenge: Good vs. Evil
News Details
From the winner of the Game Tile challenge, Doppleganger comes this week's challenge: 'Good vs. Evil'. Choose a palette, good or evil and then sprite a scene portraying good or evil. This means your scene will either be good or evil -- not a mix.
- Must use all 6 colors from the same palette, good or evil (not a mix)
- Canvas Size is 144x192 or 192x144
- Must be a scene portraying good or evil depending on the palette you chose.

The palettes are just fine. It's just that everyone keeps using them in the same way.

Sorry about the funky palettes, I suppose I didn't ramp them as well as I would've liked. The evil palette has lightness variation but no hue variation and the good palette vice versa. Adding the possibility of a good vs evil scene using 3 colors from each would've probably helped that situation.
Anyways, it's good to see that some people made some decent stuff with the palette, and the difficulty of the palettes adds to the challenge I suppose. If I find some time before the contest ends I'll put in an entry of my own so I can fully understand what not to do when giving people random palettes. :p

would it be valid to do a picture which is 192x144 with the left part (96x144) using palette 1 and the right part (96x144 too =) using palette 2 ??

I finished mine but the evil palette aint good to work with, the third and fourth colour are too much the same darkness
