the deadline is there for a reason, it gives you -and everyone- a whole week to finish your entry, ensuring everyone will have the same time to work on their pixels. i'm sure you will understand that, since if we make an exception with you, we'll have to make exceptions with everyone.
and yes, my first submission in the gallery had the same problem too.
I submitted my entre 6 hours before deadline and went to sleep. But I had accidently used a forbidden color so it was'nt approved, and by the time I found out, it was too late... D'OH! 
@Savaril, it is really sad when this happens with challenges. The challenges are run automatically by the server clock : (
I must say, this palette wins! All the entries look great. I wish I had time to enter.
A few weeks ago, someone's entry to the iso alien building was 8 seconds late, it happens.
But they can't make some sort of exception? Can't the person who approves pixel art make it so that it counts as a submission for last weeks challenge?
Couldn't they make an exception? Because not accepting it because it was just barely late is ridiculous
Yes really, the challenge deadline is the challenge deadline. If something is submitted after the deadline then it is considered to part of the next week's challenge.
really? they're not going to include it because my entry was a minute and 57 seconds late?
do not forget the diference between your timezone and the site's timezone.
Your entry was submitted "12:01:57 AM" which is past the deadline.
I submitted mine at exactly 12:00 but it's not in there. :(?

well guys, if you suck at time management (like me) or at being in compliance with challenge rules then simply set your personal deadline to wednesday or something.. ensures that you can at least upload something by saturday then
