GrafX2 wants YOU!

News Details

GrafX2, a free, multi-platform bitmap image editor designed from the ground up for pixel artists, is having a birthday! This month marks its 13th year. To celebrate, and to build awareness for the project, the developers are asking the pixel community to create and submit art made with GrafX2.

There is no constraint: you can go for strict pixelart (using only the freehand tool), scene style graphics, isometric, sprites, or freestyle using all the advanced effects (transparency, smear, ...). You have 1 month to come up with something, up to the 16th of august. Then, there will be a vote to select the winner pictures. There is nothing to win, the idea is just to have fun and create some great pictures with grafx2. Of course, your pictures will be included in grafx2 gallery page on the website... that is, if we like them and if you agree :)

So download GrafX2 and get pixeling! You can send your submissions to grafx2 emailat.gifgooglegroupsemaildot.gifcom

Maybe you tried resize while the splash screen was still showing. The program doesn't adapt to window resizes if  any sub-window is still visible.
