Challenge winner >(")< asks you to help a band of filthy pirates walk like a pirate this week by creating a treasure map so they can find buried treasure.
The big challenge though is to have at least one part of your map pop out. This piece illustrates the idea, but this isn't necessarily an iso challenge. You can make any part pop out, whether it's a fantasy creature, a treasure chest or some land masses. Be creative!
You don't have to create a typical looking pirate map like this piece, but you must at least indicate where 'North' is and have an 'X' to denote where the buried treasure is.
Canvas Size - Max 256 x 256.
Colors - Max 21. Use only colors from this palette:
Transparency - Optional.
Animation - Optional.
The challenge thread will have all the challenge updates. The thread is also a great place to post your WIPs.
How does it work colour palette-wise when we're limited to the 21 colours but transparency is optional. Do I have to sacrifice one of those colours for transparency, or can I use a 22nd colour for the transparency?
Never mind, I answered my own question when I counted the visible colours in the palette.
I'm at home and I can't see it either so the problem must be in tinypic.
Many workplaces have filtered web access. Maybe he has tinypic blocked (but not imageshack).
Do you see it here?

No.. still nothing at all.
And the link doesn't work neither.
I do see Elks piece, so I guess i'll get the colors from there.

D'you see a red X or something instead? Or nothing?

Not so good palette, missing warmer tones for candles
There are 20 colours in the palette excluding transparency. So, Max 21 means all of the colours + the optional transparency.
