I think 'remote' would mean just remote in reference to other villages. As long as it's a minimum distance away, I think it should be viable- there shouldn't be a maximum distance. If it's isolated, then it's remote.

I think drawing a town on mars is stretching the challenge a little much. My reasoning behind this is mars is hardly visable even with a telescope. I would say its more than remote.

 When this says remote does remote have to be on earth? Cause Mars is pretty remote

Remote means distant as far as I know. So it's something like a village atop a mountain or on a distant island etc.

What is a remote village? I feel dumb.
