Animation - Required.
Oh, I'd like so much to participate in this one, but this week I'm so busy! =(
That should be an established rule! It would prevent a lot of confusion.
Thank you, that's a very good way to rationalize what would be allowed.
I'd say the best rule would be 'If you can't adequately define it in the word "dog", it's not covered by the rules.' For example, a stuffed dog can be gestured to and called a dog, while a dog-man would not be so easy to describe as such... Unless it was a dog-man in a fictional universe where 'dog' is a slur...
I'd stay clear of dog persons. That's bending the rules a bit much.
WOA WAIT.
Would a dog-person be permitted? Such as anthro, kemonomimi, ect?
Sweet beans. Time to try and pull out all the cute stops.
Puppy dog eyes x20, here I come.
It's pretty hard to get disqualified from a challenge, you can usually interpret them pretty loosely. It says nothing about alive, just "dog". Granted it has to be moving around considering it's an animation, but I think it could look however you want.
Question, must the dog be a living, breathing dog?
For example, are plushie dogs acceptable?
We're pixeling dog sprites doing stuff and entering them in a challenge where in the end people are awarded ribbons. So what you're saying is.... This is a virtual dog show!
A good motivation to try (at least) the animation, hope I'll find some idea to enter...
Animation challenge!! Yeaaah! I would like to enter...
Cry "Pixel!" and let slip the dogs of war!
Shiba Inu will definitely have my votes if there are any <3
Oh man... i just did an alien dog two weeks ago!
