iPad - PixelArt App Launched

A brand new app for creating pixel art on an iPad has been released. It's called Pixaki, and it's designed to be a professional tool, with support for up to 20 layers and the ability to export to a PSD file.

The app has had a very positive reception, being featured in the Guardian's top 20 apps of the week and getting a very positive review on the Verge. It was developed by Luke Rogers (rizer on the forums) over the course of two years, who is planning to add more features such as animation in the future.

@TheKaizenPixel, we often have go thru a few rounds of editing and correting typos and make everything read nice and pro and make sure the links are good plus we always review/play/test PJer projects just in case and all that stuff and it takes us some time, ya noes. When something is extremely time sensitive and we know the PJer well we will risk it and run it unchecked.

Looks great and better than SpriteSomething that I'm using right now, and just what I need, layers. But sadly, iPad only, would be cool if it cool work on iPod/iPhone.
