Pixel Joint is in the process of converting from MSSQL to MySQL right now and we wanted to warn you that there might be a few hiccups including truncation of messages, comments and descriptions longer than 4000 characters. Fortunately, these long posts account for less than 1/10 of ONE percent of items so the vast majority of all content will be untouched. For those very few items that do get truncated we apologize in advance.
There are fields that handle massive amounts of characters in MySQL, but I'm mostly just dealing with the MySQL migration recommendations.
Damn, yo. Does MySQL not accept as high field sizes or something?
Will this allow us by any chance to overcome some limitations like number of favorites, buddies, etc.?
