Bwhahaha, it works for me >:D (only thing is that sound doesn't work and it's really laggy). Are you using wine through the terminal or with the GUI (I doubt that would affect anything... but you never know)? If you run the program in the terminal and it still doesn't work could you perhaps copy all the output in the terminal and put it into here http://pastebin.com/ and then pm me the link? Wine problems are frusterating, I feel your pain :C
First program I've found that doesn't work on WINE. :/ The DotArt logo pops up in the middle of the screen, then "Unexpected error occurred when running the game."
I will try it, it's always good to see new programs for pixel art. Thank you!

any question about the tools are welcome!.
well, it's tested on linux gnu under Wine, but on many systems the canvas get wrinkled or lagged.
this was crated for any platform of windows, not tested on W8 yet. it works with the DirectX tech.
it just need Directx 8.0 or later.
