This year is the 40th anniversary of the Rubik's Cube. Create something using one of the cube net templates below, however, you must also use all six Rubik's Cube colours.
Canvas Size - Use one of the following templates (90° rotation or flipping are allowed):
The challenge thread will have all the challenge updates. The thread is also a great place to post your WIPs.
Does it have to all be INSIDE of the rubik's cube? Like can I have parts protuding out of it?
I'm pretty sure I saw questions like this in virtually every one of the challenges with templates + rotation. I'm not even entering this one, I just wanted to make the question answered in advance for those supposedly in doubt. (Why couldn't someone want to rotate it in 45 degrees, after all?)
Updated it to make it clear that rotation only means 90°. I guess it's easy to fall into a bad habit of assuming that everyone just naturally understands certain things.
I see three birds. One standing, one flying and one sitting. The last one is also wearing a hat. Is it scottish Donald Duck?
I know this usually has the same answer, but just to be sure: "Rotation" means "rotation in multiples of 90°", right? Because some might want to turn this into an isometric mockup challenge or something.
Draw something in one of the three canvases and make sure you use all of the six colours. That is all.
I understand that templates are required only as shapes and with those colours I can do what I want? I mean there haven´t to be those cubes have they? Sheesh this is one of the most unclear weekly I have seen.
I have absolutely no idea what to do with those templates... I suppose a challenge isn't meant to be easy lol
I see a GB TloZ sidescrolling dungeon room in the cross/2nd one. Wonder if my mind is more atheist or geeky.
