33 1/3 RPM, 12", grooves.
There's something magic about records pressed on vinyl. It's not only the rich sound but the feel of holding a piece of music history in your own hands as well.
This week, you have the chance to cut your own record. Use the attached template below and add as many grooves as you like. The grey part is reserved for the label which you can use to express your creativity.
Canvas Size - template.
Colors - Max. 16.
Transparency - template.
Animation - No.
The challenge thread will have all the challenge updates. The thread is also a great place to post your WIPs.
You can be as creative as you want as long as you can tell that it's a record.
Hello, I do not handle English very well (my mother tongue is Spanish), according to my understanding, it could be added, I'm not completely sure. I hope not to confuse anyone else.
Thanks for the inspirational post, SethSpace. I'm a little confused though. I thought we had only free range do do what we wan on the record label. Your post suggests that we have free range to do whatever we want on the whole record, the vinyl and label.
So, in short, can I draw anything I want on the vinyl too?

Since the template is larger than 100x100, the vinyl will blend with the black preview background when mousing over the piece during voting. The template may need a re-work. Scratch that, it's an off-black.
The record as well as the label are perfect circles, so it's top down. No perspective.
Alright, you got it. ;)
