@Adarias, I will get back to discussion once the challenge will be closed. Marking that stretching the rule from such limitation (200x150 pixels) to size where 1 pixel is worth 4-6 pixels is more than stretching. It was probably better to cancel the challenge since for a week submission page didn't show any submissions, no one was assuming the challenge is still on-going.
@35au1, we appreciate the feedback.
Given the challenge had already already extended, the only alternative was to manually close the challenge without ribbons. Stretching the rules to include zhangyue's entry was determined to be less unfair.
We are aware, but we didn't really want to keep the same challenge up for a third week.
please, mark that even if submission from zhangyue27334 is a really decent piece, it does not fit challenge requirements (Canvas Size - Exactly. 200 (Width) x 150 (Height))
I haven't seen that discussion before, and now I see how this problem was resolved. I feel very curious why the challenge couldn't be closed with only two legit entrys, and rewarding with only two ribbons 1st and 2nd? Why without 3 there would be no ribbons. And if that is true, I think that it could be much easier if there would be an anouncement (including private mesage to previous participants) with something like "becasue of small amount of entrys, we have to change the rules to include more artworks, to be able to close the challenge. If that makes you want to alter your submission, to fit/utilise new requirements, now is the time to do so". If all of it would be clear it would be much more fair instead of "less unfair". Please forgive me if something like that exactly happened but I'm not aware of that.
