I would have to agree that this error is not very cool in consequences delicately speaking, but I do not think that it is something that cannot be fixed by admins. When they realise that becasue of the simple mistake, a piece that break two challenge rules was accepted. We are all people and people makes mistakes. We are also capable of polite and civilised ways of solving such problems. 35au1 I really think that leaving Pixel Joint without waiting for the admin reaction to this mistake is a very hasty reaction, not worth it. Also becasue your art is great, and it would be a lost not only for you but for all of us.
Congrats guys! You've just totally broke pixeljoint by skipping 2 challenge rules - size (trippled), amount of colours (80+). I'm out of this place!
I'm sorry for my previous uninformed opinion. I just noticed the discussion uder the challenge voting page, and realised it was not an error but a deliberate decission. I try understand the motivation behind it, and still find it odd, but maybe I don't understand everything about how Pixel Joint challenges work. The one last thing that I wanted to point out is that you didn't "lost" how you put it on your profile. You won the second place. And if this is bad in your opinion that is not at all a fault of admins, but how people voted (for an entry that does not follow all the challenge rules), and we really do not have any influence over decisions of the voters. But still, even if I think that you have a right to feel dissapointed, leaving Pixel Joint is not justified in these circumstances in my opinion. I think this experience can lead to polishing the rules of the challenges if there is clearly a possibility of someone felling such unjustly treated.
