This weeks challenge is going to be straight-forward.
Draw a sprite of a pro wrestler wearing an animal mask and a championship belt (so it have to include a shiny metal and a lot of muscle). You also have to use fishfighters8 palette.
If you have no idea what this is about, Tiger Mask manga would be a good example.
We thank CELS for every single challenge idea used in this combo.
Canvas Size - max 100x100.
Colors - Max 9 (palette + transparency).
Transparency - Required.
Animation - No.
Gawrone granting every wish simultaneously is somewhat reminiscent of 1997's Wishmaster film, but I'll take it.
Makes me want to do an homage to Pro Wrestling for the Sega Master System but the pixel art in that game is SO bad compared to how I remember it. I must have had a vivid imagination as a boy, because I remember those sprites in such splendid detail.
Yes, if it will be a human with animal mask/head and a championship belt. Most character looks from street fighter could be easily sold as a wrestling costume of a fictional wrestler, so this won't count as breaking the rules anyway.
Hello.
I also have a question. Is it ok, if we make a fighter, rather than a wrestler, kinda like a street fighter's character ?
Thanks.
You can totally invent your own fighting game character.
Just choose gender/body type, add muscle, design costume (however minimal you want it to be), choose animal head/mask, add champion belt (I guess it doesn't have be weared on waist. It can be held in hand, raised above head, hanging on shoulder...etc.).
Question: Does it have to be a known pro wrestler or we can just create our own?
All those pro wrestlers have a belly. They are realistic in some way.
