CHALLENGE: Melloween

As Halloween is just around the corner, we want you to make something scary. Not just anything scary though, we want you to present something mundane or pleasant in a scary way. So for example, an evil grandma or a man-eating goldfish.

Try to be as imaginative as you possibly can - this means you should attempt to avoid common horror motifs such as evil dogs, creepy clowns or scary pumpkins etc...

Credit for the challenge idea goes to Cure.

Canvas Size - Unrestricted.
Colours - Max 13.
Transparency - Optional.
Animation - Optional.

• Only new pixels allowed.
• Open to all members.

For somthing like this I figured everyone would be doing ghosts, ghouls, and monsters. I wanted to take a different rout, Pshycological fear. Heres a draft.

Havent Seen alot on this competition yet, but i thought i would show off my WIP as it is now.
Keep in mind: the animation does need to be smoothed out and some other things need editing i know, but i thought i'd check to make sure i am interpreting the theme correctly. My mundane item would be a touch screen cell phone with apps.

That's probably mostly from when I had to convert it from the 25 colors i had originally been working with to the 13 that the challenge allows. I have to now go in and re-work the colors and key frames to work with the limited pallet but i'm just trying to see if there are any critiques on the composition, or interpretation of theme.

@oreo I'm sorry but i am having such a hard time trying to figure out exactly what yours is. can someone help me out?
It looks like a tunnel entrance that is crying, or something else that is crying. I'm really not seeing the horror of it.

Ok, so mine is kinda a take off of the Jon Burgerman sketches, but heres something a bit different(Dr. Jekarot). Suggestions?
