As Manjaman said, the water seems to lack detail compared to the rest of the piece. I like the trees though.

I'm sorry I couldn't pick more than three -- lots of great pieces this time.

I like the creativity in it.

I wish it had a background -- and I love the minimal animation in the avatar, it gives the character a lot of life.

EDIT- Thanks for adding a BG.

Very nice, but in my opinion the four-fingered hands look a little strange, because of the level of detail in the rest of the piece, and the fact that it's five-fingered in the preview..

Though I think you could have used a darker pink for the darker shade of the shirt, and some of the outlines are a bit strange, I like it. In particular I think the shading is nice, and the lineart/perspective is very good.

I like it -- reminds me of www.pixeljoint.com/pixelart/33198.htm for some reason. Background looks like it might be a little rushed though.

As skull said, I don't think you need 16 colors for such a small piece.

Could have used some AA.

The angle of the speaker looks a bit strange. At first glance it looked like it was turning towards me, but it seems you intended it to be facing away. Also, the white pixels on it look a little strange. Other then these problems though it looks very nice, especially for a first piece.

I like the perspective. In some cases I don't like the dithering, but I think you've done it pretty well at least on the visor.

Pretty cool. This would be even better if you went in a took time to add props/shading and made it look like an Escher drawing.

Thanks -- I think of the whole thing, the eyeball itself needs the most work. As you pointed out,the pupil is slanted strangely, and also I kind of messed up the shading with the black dots around the iris. Not sure what you mean by the edge being pillow shaded though. I assume you're talking about the top?

It looks like pieces of the girl on the left are unfinished (mostly the arms and the right leg). I happen to like the palette a lot, and all of the characters look interesting.

His left hand.. and whole arm for that matter, seems a little strange being shown totally flat -- in contrast with the rest of his body. It at first seemed to me like you could have gotten the same result with less colors,  but really the hair and the pants being different colors ended up adding a lot. I definitely like the general shape, and this would also look a lot nicer anti-aliased.

Liked the line, and the stylized character too  .

Also thought it looked like a butterfly, the four wings and all..

Nice, I especially like the trees and the bark.

Nice, but the change in shading, and bouncing of the belt seems a little extreme for just breathing. It looks more like he's jumping than just breathing.

Impressive size. The handle seems a little bit lackluster compared to the rest of the piece as you pointed out.

Nice coloring on this. It's sort of paint-like.

Wow, impressive size. It all seems to hold together too. I especially like the way you did the cliffs and the wooden bits.

I really like this, especially the way the palette is used. It's difficult to count all of the colors, as the way they are blended so well makes it hard to tell (for example, cyan and purple aren't on there,  but it looks like it). All around really great piece.

I like it a lot. The animations are very simple but they have a lot of style to them -- they remind of old RPGs.
