First of all, thank's for the hint, but I can't write about myself in third person lol.

I began creating pixel art in around 2006 on a game called RuneScape, where pixel art forum signatures were highly sought after. I began creating simple pixel signatures for my friends, and once I had some practice I started selling them to other players, mostly for ingame currency. Around this time I began creating a simple RPG with a friend using a free engine. Whilst I cringe looking at the sprites and tiles now, we had over 400 players download our game which was at the time the highest number for that game engine. 

I started branching out to other pixel art projects and trying to improve my skills, and got offered a paid job working on a game in 2008, however unfortunately most of the way through the project the developers went silent and the game never got completed (and I never got paid). Shortly later my pc died and I had stupidly not backed up a lot of my work. I dabbled in pixel art again a few times briefly but I have been recently wishing to return to more creative endeavours and my love of pixel art is returning.
