Serena was introduced to anime/manga at the age of 5 yrs old. She was introduced to it by her eldest brother, who always watched DBZ, her favorite anime at the time was Sailor Moon. At the age of 7 she was facinated by drawing, a friend of hers taught her how to draw in her cartoony style, but eventually Serena put her own touches to it. And in 5th grade she was taught how to draw in an anime style by her 2nd oldest brother's friend, and eventually became better than her by the time she was in 6th grade.
