I am not an artist by any means. I did it to pass the time in between classes... My technique improved as i went on and by the end I was quite proud of it. I see what everyone is saying about it and most peoples points are quite valid...That said, Please if you want to comment.. "Constructive criticism" is appreciated, not flaming. Saying things like "read the rules first" is just ignorance. I did not make the block for this site i made it for another site, and I didn't even know about this site when I started it. I submitted to this site hoping to get some positive feedback on how I can improve future endeavors. I followed the "rules" to the best of my abilities. Obviously someone is not going to ace every aspect of pixel art on their first piece, and the mentality that my first piece should be keen to every nuance and aspect of "pixel art" is quite childish. I am not going to revise the starbucks any time soon, I have moved onto a new pixeldam block. THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone who realized that this is my FIRST attempt at pixel art... And there were a lot of things i didn't know how to do and a lot of nuances that i did not know about. Constructive criticism from Jalonso and Daporta etc. was very appreciated. But to those who flamed me, flaming someone on their first piece is not a great way to encourage to people to join this genre of art.  |

 | thefevafortheflava @ 3/22/2006 9:23:31 PM commented on My face great work! however, keeping in mind pixel art is usually kept to a low color count... this piece is too monochrmatic it needs contrast and more of a range of brightnesses... even faces in the dark have really bright points and ultra dark points. |

The drive through has been revised, the drive through window and auning have been revised. Both cars have been revised etc... Still more revisions to come.... .... PS... | thefevafortheflava @ 3/4/2006 12:42:38 PM commented on Starbucks Faktablad - thanks for the good feedback, as i said work in progress so good feedback is always welcome, and yea i was planning on changing some of those black lines. the reason some of my lines arent completely isometric is more of an artistic deal... The world isn't perfect so i flaw my art... yeah the sign has some blurring it was skewed but that is skewed pixel art i created. I will work on all that stuff... Like i said my first attempt at pixel art so i dont really know about some of its nuances. ( like i didnt knwo that people gavea shit if you used gradients???) As for the photoshop stuff, there are some patterns like on the road but they were patterns i created myself ( There again didn't know anyone gave 2 shits about using a pattern). But i can see where everyone is coming from and I appreciate comments that arent pointless flames. |

Everything on here i created myself there is use of gradients but thats merely a time saver. as for "noise" on the roof i never used noise. Skewed logos??? NO i ceated those signs and logos PIXEL BY PIXEL! pretty funny from a guy whose stuff is s****y and he has like 15 pieces.. Get a life and stop flaming people |
