um pillow shading? ryath and pumpkinbot do you realize this is the only way to shade a freaking cylinder? lol...

one bit of criticism first, to get it out of the way

the only thing i found frustrating was the wall+glass obstacle... it's too unforgiving compared to other obstacles (even the sudden bomb in your face) but what's worse it's nearly impossible to tell the height at which the glass is this time.

all my deaths but one in the game in like 25 attempts were due to these walls.

other than that the atmosphere is amazing and i applaud adam and danny for creating such a masterpiece of a game

i love newgrounds really, their flash gallery is unmatched.. but right now their pixelart gallery seems worse than deviantart's.. i hope they get their shit straight.. not submitting anytime soon otherwise

as it stands now theres less actual pixelart there than oekaki crap and just random stuff. plus the quality of some of the work there is dubious.. i mean.. whats the point of moderating it then anyway

fantastic job, follows the original style so wel, extracting the palette definitely helped. also the harsh contrast isnt a shortcoming IMO, the megaman games were always known exactly for that
