well I suppose I could add that this is by far my most favourite animation on this site.  As im not really a massive fan of completely static pieces ,or things that are too realistic. Its got a kind of metal slug style to it. Desevred top pixel art. well done again.

@crab2selout: thanks for the tips, i also find issues when the jacket starts to break and scatters around, but since the frames go back and foward like 1-2-1-2-3-2-3-4 maybe the only solution is to edit the jacket in each frame to remove the flicker as you say, i'll try it.

Great stuff! Right-clicking' + downloading as I speak. One crit: I'm not liking how the clothing rags flicker out of existence. I find it brings the rags to the foreground and distracts from the focus of the animation and I think that it[the animation as a whole] would be better off if they disappeared without the flicker.

All in all, a very solid effort. Your focus on primary animation elements is much improved from your other animations. The only thing I can think of suggesting is opening or closing the wolf's mouth a pixel while he growls at the end.

wow... one thing  i noticed is that his tail comes out pretty easily. also it looks almost as if on thy is longer than the other his left one to be specific... maybe it is just the perspective...

@Filax: i started with the human shape, then i made the frames from there, the last frame was the wolf form. there isnt much to say about the technique used, because there isnt much movement at all, the shaking makes it look there is more than it really has. for making the frames I just edited the previous frame redrawing some parts (hands and arms, head mostly) and moving others

@eru: um... kevin's morphing procress was just a white shape changing... and colors arent as good as snes ones...i cant see similarities :s still SD3 wasnt my idea

@omgfossil: yeah thats what i made in the first place, but the whole process looked a bit fast , then howling right away, so i made a little break after it, opens the eyes, gets up, then roar.still some friends complained about that too, maybe i add an url with an alternate animation later.

@emagination: nah, might look a bit busy i think. the ideal would be add sound to it

@smithy: yeah chaindog said it. the older altered beast games dont look very good to me...  i'd like a lot to play the ps2 one though

This is just amazing, the transformation sequence is perfect for it. I only think that just the moment it turns into a werewolf, instead of just standing there holding its head for a few seconds it suddenly raises its head and howls, so it can seem more like it's fierce and uncontrollable.

Remembers me of Seiken Densetsu , traces and colors , and of course the werewolf , everytihng remembers me it >< good job, really nice one.

i assumed that the reddish hues (becuase its a conscious change made in the animation) were to show some sort of berserker rage of sorts.

just taking another opportunity to say how muh i like this.  i try not to idolize others works, but yours are just so damned good.

You finished it this soon? Well, you don't need me to tell you this is great. What I do find a bit disapointing is that the haircolor of the human and the wolf-form are different. But that's just nitpicking.

That's beautiful...tell me, how the heck did you animate it like that? Did you do the two separate sprites (man and werewolf) and developed the animation from that? Or did you use a different technique? (like doing silhouettes first, animating them and then detailing)

sweet animation here. The character designs looks great, also. I guess if I had to crit this beauty, it would be the strange red color on the back of the wolfs mane. I don't really know what it is, but it looks like some red hair that just randomly pops up. Other than that, Great job...
