the hair is done quite nicely but im not feeling the point givin in the art

weee! a warhammer player :D great dwarf ... reminds me of warcraft (only because i play that more now days :P )

I should explain one thing: it's a "Dwaf Slayer" as they are in the Warhammer fantasy game thing. He would be like a Trollslayer or Giantslayer or whatever, they're just all called "Slayers". I can shift responsibility off myself for the "mane" idea because I stole the basic hairstyle from the actual models.

well since its your first attempt at hair ill comment on that. the over all hair i like. how ever the way the hair is im not so fond of. like how it looks like a mane (sp?) you know the hair that lions have around there heads anyway ya that just doesnt tickle my fancy. The overall color and feel of the hair in this is good though keep it up

Hehe, hilarious how that "click" is pressed onto his forehead in the preview.
I think the seam between the hair and the head at the top could work better, more seemless, if the outline wouldn't be that dark there, maybe even if the outline wasn't there at all.
The same could work where the beard meets the jowls.
The hair itself looks all good to me and the shading is smooth, just the eyebrows could stand out a bit more, they look too similar to the skin in their current tone, imo.
