about nostrils, there's noses and noses. If you can't see them in reference, I guess, ok. Lip shading enhances, I'd do it a bit differently which I guess in this case goes for something, heh, but it's fine overall.
Is this better? I'm not sure about the levels of light on the upper lip...are they too strong?
You said I should define the nostrils, but when I look at the mirror I don't see them at all, so I guess it would be weird to do that...maybe just strenghtening the shadow there will do?
I'd say you need define the nostrils, give some light on the top of the upper lip (there's none on mine because the mustache obstructs) and on the opposite of the thing between the nose and the upper lip, that ridge... my english fail me.
I was kinda taken aback at first at the palette and theme similarity, but then again, that was the activity, I guess I'm honored.
Thanks for the comments guys, it's good to know you like the improvements. I changed some things again, mainly the mouth and his right eye.
Larwick: The point was imitating, so I just followed Helm's piece. Since he did the light like that...besides, I don't think it goes against the face volumetrics...
Awesome, i saw it before it was edited and this seems alot better. Not so sure about the large area of light above his eyebrow though, but generally it's ace.
