So it's not possible to recognize quality without being able to produce it?
I agree, the pixel quality could be better, it clearly got in on style alone. But I have no problem with that.

@funcravers: absolutely no offense there, but given how your pixel art looks, it's obvious that you don't understand why this IS hall of fame "quality". :)

Hate to break you down but this is seriously NOT hall of fame quality.

Very nice, but im wondering where is the rope attached in the girls side? Just a minor whine. :)

It's wicked neat! Haha, she isn't holding the leash though, that's really bizzare.

Really great, but four problems:
1. Girl isn't holding leash.
2.Teeth too bright.
3. Leash not attatched to ring around pet.
4. Heart too bright.

I like it. Well laid out, good color choices, and I like the concept. There are a couple of things that kind of stick out like a sore thumb when I look at it though.

1) She's not actually holding the leash. That drives me crazy.
2) The leaves clash with the rest of the palette. I can understand why the apple is red - it stands out and there's also red in the girl's shirt. But the green just screams like a loud tie at a funeral.
3) The monster's teeth are really white which again sticks out a lot.
4) It wouldn't hurt to put in some more anti-alaising, especially since you're using black outlines.

Again, the concept is good enough that it supports the whole piece, but with a few fixes this would be perfect.

Id love to see this animated...the girl taking/riding the dino for a walk would be soo cool. Love the design but agree with the point of the girls skin being one shade to dark, it makes her sit back jus a tad to much. Exellent design tho. fav

Зелёная куча листьев в углу несколько мешает восприятию. Центр композиции в углу - это плохо. Но, пожалуй, я все-же поставлю 7/7

I like the way her pet's hind leg is slightly raised...It looks as if it is really stretching to get the fruit. I like that her face is expressionless and blends to the bg, it keeps the focus on the pet yet reminds us of the oddity we are viewing! 

                                    

The white of the teeth stand out a little too much, in my opinion.  I also agree that the girl blends into the background a little much, you might want to use the higlight shade for her skin.

Such a cool drawing. The tongue is what made me smile. My only crit would be that the girl's skin might be too dark- that or the background too light. Either way it makes her fade into the background a little too much.
