made with WDstudio. 2 hours. no shading you may notice... ITS A FREAKING cartoon. and yes, DOMOscene is a play on demoscene... colors are like that because this is c64... i think i took care of most of the negative comments. the character is DOMOKUN - KUN + scene = DOMOscene! Ah, I forgot the other restrictions, my edit is completey wrong. But I'm sure you can still anti-alias in Multicolour Mode.

Lawrence, there's other resrictions which stop that sort of easy, smooth AA.

I like it! I think it would have looked better without the writing, and the cloud not having any shadow underneath, perhaps even swapping around the lightness of the green hills. I realise then it would be rather simple... would it be possible to add another reflection in the eyeballs on the opposite side? I think that would look cool, and drive the attention towards his tortured soul.

You can still anti-alias with the C64 palette. For example, between the domo's brown and the yellow sun there are three different sets of luminance. Here's a rough edit for clarity.
I'm not really bothered by the lack of aa though, it still looks good to me, this is a cool, funny piece.
