Going to have to download and parse this whole .gif. On top of keeping on top of general consistency from frame to frame in an animation, I also have trouble with the timing of things like anticipating an action, staggering and losing/gaining control of balance, getting the 'right' length of pause from one pose to another, so I'll study this .gif for that. It's also a little difficult to read a lot of the animation itself - the skintone and hair colour being the same (and their outline colour) means the head, hair and arms all sort of blend together in some of the poses, even with the gloves adding darker values to convey where the hands are during the poses. Also the arms are hard to read during the pre-stab idle motion (they're partially obscured by the jacket), I can only really make out the gloves a little.
The whole 'trying to pull the knife back out' part of the animation has a lot of Dreamcast/GBA RPG energy to it, though they usually have a more abstract hit spark accompanying the motion than splashes of pixel blood.
i'm sure i saw this one before.
but it's great to see it here again.
i totally love the end animation XD
jeje muy buena me necanta , quiezas lo unico que le veo es en la parte que parece que este en stand seve demasiado rapido pero de todas formas se ve bien n_n
a ver si te pillo un dia por el messenger
I think I once saw concept art of this character. Really nicely done. You have a way with animations.
The anim is very varied and stays interesting to look the entire time. The only real comment I have is that the idle stance might move a little too fast. It makes her look very hyperactive.
The animation is smooth, and very cool (the knife stick is brilliant ), but the swings for the most part seem to lack force (they all kind of cut short, or seem to lack the natural followthrough of a forceful swipe or something). Maybe I'm way off, though... someone back me up (or refute it)!.
That said, you're an incredibly talented animator. Keep the pics coming!
Great
