@scriblroid thanks! and you're right. i forgot about Panda's work, but i think his was some of the first i saw on PJ, so he definitely inspired me a bit! it's a shame he seems to be inactive though

i really like how the lines soften and taper, and how the palette gives a sense of the weather on its own.
 
also, i've been jumping around older galleries and felt a weird familiarity with this piece afterwards, and it turns out theres also another similar peregrine falcon piece from over a decade ago that set off that feeling :-0 things don't seem to age much on pixeljoint for some reason!

The details on the wing are especially well rendered. Great color choice for the background too, this piece POPS.
