So about a week before Halloween '24 I was doing some antique shopping with my wife when I saw a pin up print of a nude woman reclining on a cresent moon titled "Honey-Moon." (Zoe Mozert? I am not sure.) Anyhow, inspired by the general concept I did a few sketches of rough poses both on paper and in PPaint. I started with just concentrating on studying the lighting from the cresent moon which I decided should be more the effect of a spell than the real moon. I also decided there needed to be a snake and due to the holiday the woman needed to be a caped witch with a hood. (And since my preferences tilt disctinctly towards curvy and heavier women it is roughly modeled on my wife... posted here with her permission.) Then I decided to get crazy dithering the glow with all kinds of little shapes and stuff.

I didn't intend for it to take this long but I got hung up on changing the raised arm position, messing with the shading, and worst of all I spent hours and hours over days trying different methods for doing clouds in the background also highlighted by the moon but I just drove my self crazy and never ended up with anything I liked. (Then I took a break for a couple weeks due to work.) Worth it for the learning though.

Because of the content, I will full accept if the piece is rejected by the mods or needs edits.

Made in PPaint on an OCS Amiga in 64 color extra-half-bright mode, lowres 320 x 352.

Thanks! I am sure it is not for everyone given some of the highly charged reactions online I've seen to any human form that deviates from the "ideal." Creating it was well outside the usual stuff I poke around with but I am pleased with the results.

I'm looking to try incorporating the disordered style dithering used in the glow as surface texture for my game assets I am slowly working on. (Coding, doing art/animation, etc on top of full time work and being a husband and father means it is very slow.)

I do like all the little shapes, first time I have seen a pinup like this, pretty creative good job.

Thanks for the encouragement Tipleloop. It wasn't really my intention to push the boundaries... I wasn't even intending to post this until I showed my wife when I was about 90% done and she prompted me to go for it. I did scope out the nsfw collection on here before hand to see where things stand but seeing that it is up I guess it is okay.

Meh, you can practically post everything in PJ, as long as it was Pixel art.
but don't take my word for it, I'm not the moderator .
make me want to test the boundaries limit .

Anyway, great art, this is what I said "the art decide what to make moment" the final result not what you envision.
