The change between rock and fish and vice versa might be too extreme though.

This is a great add here! Cool stuff, reminds me a sushi bar . I love the yellow but shelves or any base under the the fishbowl would be nice too :p

Yeah, the water does seem a bit thick. The exit/entrance of the fish from the water should have some effect on the entire surface of the water. Highlights on the rim of the the bowl randomly appear at the beginning of the sequence. And maybe have a few bubbles when the fish lands? :p Or that might be more detail than is needed. Good stuff nonetheless.

Want to give some dough back to all those amazing pixel artists?
I think the main reason why the water looks like playdough is because: a) I've been too lazy to make realistic splashes, so made small lumps that make the water look thick instead. b) Was too lazy (once again) to animate the water whilst the fishy is a rock. Perhaps, when I have the time and motivation, I will edit :)
