An iconic piece of large-scale pixel art animation. Complex, fluid, and surprisingly long.
Very few pixelated souls haven't heard of Fool's pixel placing skills. I'm sure many will relate to how this has proved a constant motivation.

As soon as I saw this I knew it was a Fool piece, your style is unmistakeable and truly gorgeous. You make me want to format my data drive and give up pixelling... seriously though, you are a master.
There's so much subtle animation going on that's way beyond what you'd see in your average animated sprite. You sir, are a god.
There doesnt seem to be anything you cannot draw/animate in pixels. Simple Amazing!
Wow this is just beyond me, love the subtle animations on the belly.
The smoothness of movement in this is amazing. Every little detail, from the wrinkling of the wings to the shifting of scales on the beast's tail, is perfect. Seriously, this deserves an award or something.

I work at a computer camp for little kids and I use this as an example of why 3D isn't always better than 2D. This has been my favorite pixel art for years.
hmm id like to see fire but i know it would have to be more colors and it would throw the pic off

(the animation is a little shaky at the start of the tail though, almost behind the wing)
i love how all off the body moves each frame, you must have put so much effort into animating this, its beautiful!
Wow, just drawing this would have been REALLY hard. Animating it? IMPOSSIBLE! Also, i noticed all the pixels are moving.
