Well, eitherr way they're very grainy and not plant-ish.
Brown wouldn't be the color though. Use the blue youuse near the top of the eye.

1 thats not grass its the leaves from the tree
2 look at your eye in the mirror eyes aren't a solid colour there is speckles everywhere and to me it looked funny without it so :/

The grass is horrid. The dirt-ish stuff is a little better. You understand what an eye looks like, but you have dithering in there O.o
The tree bark is quite good.

i dont care for the dirt at all.  it is way to messy and un-uniform
