This is a fabulous piece. Most of all, like has been said, the depth on the tree strikes me as extra grand. You've really managed to capture the feel of a forest, which in and of itself is quite a feat.

If I had to complain about anything, it'd be the pile of rocks which I find a bit out of place. It could be the dithering on them or else the peculiar choice of colors, or maybe how the highlights lay.

None-the-less, this get's a 6/6 from me. Great work!

Hehe... Potheads. Nice colors. The trees are nicely done.

My favorite part is the tree top, you did a great job of conveying depth with the different shades of blue on the leaves. I'm not too fond of the black outlines on the sprites though, it just sticks out too much for my taste.

What I particularly liked about this were the colors and the fact that empty health meter slots are half-eaten apples.

Did I mention I like the colors?
