Looking great! I like the character design. I would possibly try using one of the lighter shades of brown to aa into the background of the shadow. I would also take it easy with the lightest shade on the rock like pieces of the character. Only use where needed, not on every bit and bump. Other than that though, it looks like you did Souly's lines justice. Groovy indeed...
