I wanted to try and animate something small as well as to investigate scrolling backgrounds. SketchGirl is 32x32 and DoodleDog is 16x16 placed on a 64x64 background. I've had trouble with the scrolling as the colours kept on messing up with glitches popping up here and there. I think I've managed to clean up all the frames so it should be around 21 colours. I may do another one of these but using different software (Amiga) to keep it glitch free and with the colours in check. (The preview pic has less colours so I could use it as my avatar)

i like the movement of the railing , the buildings and the main char animation. all different to give it a 3d look... gr8 work... more plz....

Man the hair flows so perfect, you rock at animation man, same with the bandanna in your Anti-2D piece, it's so fluid and actually has LIFE! Great work!

With the walk I wanted a bit of attitude/character and not just do a normal cycle, so it was just a case of making the arms swinging in a different style.

Believe me...I wanted to do all those things !!! But with the colour issues and glitch problems I thought it would be best to do another scene on a different package as I ended up wrestling too much with the peice rather than enjoying it. (Plus I'm preparing to go back to the UK early next week....so best to keep it simple for now)

Ha, I like it, sweet li'l anim.

Maybe the clouds could move a bit, because that's how parallax works.

And add more things to the foreground! Fire hydrant, a sitting cat, etc.

This could be more enjoyable with variety.:)
