Thanks everyone! :D@Skull: Nah, i don't think i'd bother with that (lol) but it is a neat idea :) And don't get your hopes up about rustbug coming back... too much.
@orb: I don't think i could pull off 2 subpixel frames each way, or if i did it wouldn't be any better. (I might try it someday if i'm bored..)
@rabidbaboy: I actually did start with a jittery bob for the barrel (accidentally) but although it kinda worked i think it would've been too distracting or something...
@fawel: I thought i'd leave them in for the sole sprite
@bigbro: Rustbug thread maybe? The animation was done quite a while ago but i didn't submit it (or add the barrel) till now.

It's moving so well. Especially the furtherest leg - it's rotating (they all do but that one do it the best way) and that's great.

lol at you saying it wobbles a bit unnaturally. like there is a real walking tank out there that you used as a source and it didn't wobble as much. who cares. i think this is amazing. great work.

Heh, the barrel looks pretty strange when zoomed in, but looks alright at 1x. Not sure how it would look if the wobbling was limited to just subpixelling, but that might look interesting.
