It looks like a King's Quest type of game, only many times better. It also reminds me of modern Bible illustrations.

The style is made all the better by the fact that I couldn't even being to comprehend how to accomplish this-be it in Pixel Art or utilizing filters. Heck, I wish I could do this with a filter, let alone by hand.

Very interesting cross-hatch style. I'm not even entirely sure how one would do something like that.

That's great. I love the style in this, the thing is great. An instant win. 
The only thing that kind of seems odd are those 3 stick things in the lower left hand corner. They just don't look like they fit in my opinion.

Hmm...uzywasz narzedzi "wspomagajacych powstawanie tych obrazkow czy zezasz wszystko pixel po pixelu?Bo jesli twoje prace sa "podrasowywane",to nie dziw sie ze wzbudza to niezadowolenie wsrod uzytkownikow,i dalsze wstawianie prac raczej nie ma sensu...Generalnie fajna stylistyka,co ciekawe pomyslalem o tworczosci Tolkiena zanim przeczytalem opis pracy:D.Zapraszamy na pix.art.pl -strona zdecydowanie dla poczatkujacych i nieobeznanych,ale warto zebys od czasu do czasu podzielil sie jakas wskazowka;).Twoja ksywke kojaze,mimo ze nigdy nie wnikalem zbyt gleboko w dokonania sceny.Pozdro;)

Jeśli prześledzisz resultsy parties od ok '98 gdzieniegdzie się pojawiam - jako DKL, dakael lub darklight. Niestety rzadko... Lubię czasem podziobać coś w ośmiu bitach, ale z czasem krucho. Łatwo zapalam się do różnych projektów, ale w większości nie z mojej winy nic z nich nie wychodzi i potem to wszystko leży u mnie na HDD - vide "Call DOG".

Kurcze, bardzo podoba mi się styl tej pracy. Masz świetną technikę. Tak nagle z ziemi wyszedłeś? Bo widać, że jesteś starym, dobrym grafikiem, ale ja wcześniuej Twoich prac nie widziałem... Używasz bardzo fajnych kolorów, przez co Twoje prace wydają się być takie pełne i naturalne :) Naprawdę zaskoczyły mnie Twoje grafiki :) Są świetne.

Here are 192 colors used. Palette has more of them but they aren't used. As I remember ;-)

Awesome style you went for on this. Really has that blobby, nebulous oil painting feel to the colours, mixed with a canvas/brushstroke texture. It has a couple of ambiguous areas, like that yellow part behind the trunk of the tree, and the shading on the trunk is kind of weird but for the most part this is great stuff!
