I'm making the graphics for a Wonder Boy in Monster World remake, in the early stages of the tiles and sprites. I'm going to completely remake the large mushroom, and maybe the chimney. Inspired by Adam Hanson-White's website: http:www.finalredemption.com Enjoy! EDIT: Uploading was a bitch.

I agree with Adarias about the clashing styles (though not so sure about the direction to choose). I'm not really a fan of the ground and the vegetation on the top. Without them the scene looks much better. The rooftop looks a bit empty, I' add a few lines for minor detail. Not so sure about the outline on the right side of the roof, it's the only outline in the bg. Why?

Anyway a great piece, I hope to see more of this project.

there's a real clash of rendering styles, but each individual thing looks v nice. if you were to choose a single direction to take things, i would say the bricks are the best region

I was thinking more of an indie game, easier to get a coder.

But I'm making the tiles and sprites fit in 32x32, so idk.
